My early formal education includes study at the Interlochen Arts Academy, Brandeis University
and Juilliard. I pursued graduate study in music theory and performance and was a student of Béla Böszörményi-Nagy
. Most recently I have been studying advanced harmonic analysis privately at NEC.
Teacher workshops with a focus on teaching classical piano to young children include Dalcroze Eurythmics and the Suzuki Method. In my early years, I enjoyed classical piano study and competition, and soloed with a symphony orchestra at the age of 16.
