For 30+ years, I've taught children and adults students of all ages and assorted levels from young children just entering school to adult beginners and retired professionals. My piano teaching experience includes that of college instructor (University of Alaska, Anchorage), private school adjunct (Dana Hall School Of Music in Wellesley) and private piano teacher (Weston Public Schools, along with my private piano studio).
I tailor each lesson to best meet each student's unique goals. As a result, students and parents often note and appreciate how quickly their piano-playing skills evolve. Read more about taking piano lessons for children and adults.
For very young students, the Suzuki teaching method offers a more interactive approach. It's essential that a parent be at every lesson and at every practice session at home.
